 Haiz.... this years raya was very tiring... so many funny happenings...didn't get to go visiting much...as during Nov, I'm totally busy with work (all the ship DECIDED to come to the island in one go)....
Well just some random shots of people coming to my house... insyallah next week there'll be more pics of raya, but lots of people are off island this year, back to their home town of Malaysia or Australia....so quite quiet here for raya....

Only Three more days to go and I still haven't finish my kuihs!!! Got lots to go!!! uwaaaa...Insyallah all will be done!!!!

Belum apa apa I guarantee you guys are probably saying "Tapak Kerbau" lagi bagus right...hahahha...
One of the CLASSIC Kuih Melayu... My family and myself loves the more traditional kuih's... I guess the effort you put in it, all comes out in the final product...(My siblings just say I am a Fussy Bugger...) But its true, if you make something, the effort n emotion, the way you prepare is all part of the whole thing. This kuih is very cocoa-ey..bitten with the roasted slivered almonds is just bliss....don't forget the horse essence... just teasing!!!
Kak Diella, Kuih Bangkit pat kedai tu memang tak best..trust me I bought some ages n not so ages ago...and it taste like..*****^^%% sorry bulan posa hahahahha....that is why i prefer to make my own.
Eh Abg Jeff!!! Ada ker kuih kita dier kata cam M&M's hahah, penat tau orang bikin....Skinz, i will definately email you the recipe...(ehem dah jadi fiance org dah kena pandai buat itu ini eh hahaha)
Ohwell, can't wait for tonite, gonna finish 7 more kuihs...and hopefully insyallah by the weekend its all done!!!!

Another one of my fav, "Melting Moments"... Yess it does melt in your mouth once you pop em in, and the taste... Masya-Allah, YUMMO!!
For those who think its a little too early to make biccies for raya...THINK AGAIN ... for us girls its already stressing time...I got another 20 kinds to make by Saturday, then the remainder of the days are to be done doing up the house..stress!!!!
Sorry, nothing interesting to take guys...BUT..REDCRABS this Weekend!!! The migration is starting, so, Insyallah, i shall post up the pics of those Red Buggers...eh kalau invent Kuih baru bagus jugak eh.... Kuih Ketam Merah...1 cup ketam juice, 3 ounces Ketam Hairs....GROSS!!! , enjoys....

[b] It's "Bikin Kuih Time"!!!... I love this part of the fasting month...although this year it's kinda hectic having to rush home from work, prepare food go to the mosque for Terawih and be home to do all the Biccies....
But this part surely reminds you of our younger days, watching mum baking the kuihs and then us disturbing her with tons of quetions...then trying it and ruining it...heheheh...now its us in that position....
My first kuih this year is Kuih Bangkit ..one of my favourites.. Well, totally too busy to be out taking pics..so why not in My Domain the KITCHEN heheheh... enjoys... (Oh, to my cousins in Singapore...keep watching my FP, you will see how i make my kuih...wei i tak main tunjuk tunjuk pat geylang..dah serik woit..macam macam jenis tapi rasa nyer semer sama, wasting my duit only hahahahaha)

Well the wet season has just started...so crabs won't be out till a bit later on (maybe RAYA...heheheh they too puasa tau)...so TREY..sabar, from the beginning i got to know you till now, still the same eh...IMPATIENT hehehe Sepak karang baru tau..macam mana ur Fiance layan ni.
But, I do have a shot donated by a bystander of a BIG crab in Singapore..with a COOL crab from Christmas Island one evening out on a Photography Pic Taking Frenzy haahhahah enjoys!

Haiyah, you can find all sorts of bikes on Christmas Island..preng here and preng there...the funny thing is... everyone knows who rides what bike, oh who the frikin rider is even when they are wearing their hard hats (helmet lerrrr)..heheheh... I can't wait for my scrambler to arrive on the ship!!! muakakkakkak, i shall join the GANg!!! nyah nyah nyah!!!!

I love it here... since young this was the place where my family would go for picnics, bbq..and err during my rebel days...hangout out with pals till the wee morning drag racing just up the road..haiyah...memories.....

DAFFODILS THE SYMBOL OF CANCER & LUEKEMIA FOUNDATION IN AUS.
One thing about Christmas Island is that, both a pro n con the island is small remote, where everybody knows everybody...it can be good and it can also be not so good ehehehe.
But, these photo shots although not perfect is dedicated to one young Island girl who unfortunately was diagnosed with Luekemia.
A prayer for Noraihan Binte Hj Ahmad 12... whom currently is out of Princess Margarets Children Hospital ICU, and is on the path of recovery...
Sorry Kak Diellz and friends...Bulan Puasa ni memang busy giler..tak lah macam korang heheheh insyallah more pics soon peepz...Selamat Berpuasa semua..Happy Fasting Peoplez!!!
