Circus On Christmas Island - High Spirits Circus

Went to the Circus Last nite, got called to Shoot my Cuzzin's performance..It's an annual thing the 'Circus', they use the island school studets to perform and the show never fails to amaze us. (I used to be in the juggling act..kekkeke sempat eh!)
But, I got out of control with the FIRE act...love the flames..and had fun "Testing" my camera's capability...
Not perfect yet guys...but I'm happy and so are the people who paid me for my shoot out of the whole circus..muakakakakkaka

A lot of confusion has arisen with this shot of mine right?.. Hehehe, my intention.
Actually this is my niece, was sending them back to Singapore at Christmas Island International Airport.. as usuall this cheeky bugger is in a world of her own. Every Mat Salleh's she see's she goes and "Salam & Cium Tangan"..hahaha, so after no one wants to LAYAN her, she goes and does her own thing.... sits in the middle of the Check in Path...and poses the "Cinderella Pose"...hehehe.. waiting for one of us to come and PUJUK her...malas mak long dier ni nak layan..hmm Mak dier lagi malas nak layan anak dier ? This little being is an attention seeker...cannot give face you know .
So, yeah..just observing her moves and yep, she doesn't fail to tickle my heart.....

My niece...the cheeky gal who was so awed with freedom over here....runs around, stressing my cat by trying to kiss it on the mouth....having a blast on the trampoline exhausting her grandad...trying new stunts in our backyard...entertaining us with her antics...and will always be infront of my lens when ever my cam is out..she insist i take her photos only...as she sticks her face smack bang infront of the lens...hahahah check it out.

[b]Thought my sunday would be a relaxin one, but was invited for lunch at the cove so I guess it was relaxin...kinda
The whole lunch duration I was in fits of laughter at the antics of the attendees, trying to get clear, precise shots was a challenge as I have a thing with giggling...once I start I can't stop!!! ..So I resulted into just a "Point & Shoot" aspect for this Sunday Shootout..hehehe.
So this is what one or should I say a bunch of peoplez would do on Christmas Island..on a Sunday....enjoy.  
PS - NOTE / Eh sorry about the date thing...hahah Damned fingers...to quick on the enter button and yep, there goes my entry...waaaaaaay in the future hahaha...slip of the Hand kata oreng melayusss hahahaha...cheers!

Love it here...love going back to Kampung to visit gramps....and wrecking most of his stuff hehehe even at this age...Can't wait to go in December Insya-Allah.

I remembered when Datuk's house was exactly of the replica he made..the only lights we had in the house were "Oil Lamps"..and the house would creak at night and all the bugs will be roaming around...yep just around me when there are like tons of other people around hahaha... Now, most kampung houses are way better than Apartments... Pillars and All..sheesh...Oh miss mandi the perigi, sekarang dah ada running water...and a washing machine!!!
Ok, im weird hahhaha...love those old days..."Izah is not herself today...too much daydreaming..hmmm must be because all the Hungry Ghost Festival going on hehehehe oops"

Was cleaning up my photo collection and found a couple of pics from KL...damned needed these photo's for a report and finally found them like three years too late...
Hmm KL.. quite an interesting place...BUT heheheh sorry to say... I have had enough of living in the CITY... been living in so many places and situations...I still need this old rock...the place where I call home...Pulau Krismas kekeke cheh Kerek kata orang malaysia.

It is known, that Christmas Island sells 'Dirt Cheap' Duty Free Ciggies.
How would I know? Oii I don't smoke..it's like committing suicide ley when you are a Chronic Asthmatic to go and have a Fag. But, since I work in a company that sell's these stupid buggers in our Duty Free Department - our Subcompany "Evercrown Duty Free"...I kinda know the whole deal about the cost of ciggies and around the world too.
Anyways, whilst most tourist from other countries when holiday-ing on the island can have the FREEDOM of taking back a carton of Duty Free Ciggies..I am afraid TREY....Singapore has prohibited you lot to take it back home..why? Coz us Aussies are cool ...nolah...but seriously, ciggies are cheaper in Christmas Island..don't get me wrong totally diff from the mainland prices.
View it eh.... a pack of Marlboros, Flip Top or Soft Pack 25...@$2.50 hehehehheeh... in SG??? already how much...

Today was Bapak's Birthday..After work, had to rush around the island to three different destinations looking for "Glutinous Rice & Jaggery Sugar"...waaaahh... all Bapak wanted for his birthday this year was "Bubuh Putih & Bubuh Merah"...To some people that is the easiest thing you can get ur parents rite?.. .. But.. the challenge lies when Dad said that he "Teringin nak makan Bubuh Merah & Bubuh Putih like how his Arwah Mum used to make".... Waaaah I panicked like giler... although I am useful in the kitchen cheffing out continental foods, but when it comes to "Memory Foods" as I call it...I break up in a sweat.
The Verdict...Alhamdulilah Dad said it was perfect..just like how his mum made it..and a tear drop was seen... Waaahhh my heart rate plumeted to normal, hehehe I am glad I have made Dad happy on his special day.
To Abang Saad & Kak Ninny in Singapore...this was what we did on Dad's birthday... wish all our rellies were here so it would be a BIG ASS BBQ as usual..but only us tiga beranak jer left right..so enjoyzzz..can't wait to see you guys next week!
